Strayos is Proud to Introduce... Charlie Aarons!

Charlie is our star Summer 2022 Financial Planning & Analysis Intern and we are so happy he decided to join our team!

Charlie grew up in Monroe, New York and chose to study Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance at the University at Buffalo to launch him into his career.

To help him realize his future aspirations of working in Commercial or Investment Banking he decided to join... Strayos?

We sat down with Charlie to learn a little more about him and his unorthodox decision...

What interested you about Strayos? Why did you apply?

I always wanted to have the experience in working at a startup to learn how a business truly operates. A previous intern told me how great the culture was at Strayos, so I thought it would be an amazing place to intern for.

What do you want to do in the future?

I knew since high school that I wanted to go into Finance because of my love for the stock market. The more I learned about finance the more I knew how much I wanted to go into Finance.

How do you see your time at Strayos contributing to your plans? What do you hope to accomplish during your time with us?

I think my time will contribute to my plans greatly. It has been amazing to learn more about how a startup runs. I really hope to learn more and more about how the business works.

What are you working on right now?

Currently I am researching and reporting on mining industry trends and forecasts for market growth and opportunities related to the industry's adoption of digitalization and sustainability strategies. It has been really cool to learn about the different efforts and opportunities taking place to modernize the industry and make mining safer, cheaper, more productive, and more sustainable!
