2026 Summer Intern Spotlight

Strayos is excited to introduce… Sanjana Vijaykumar!

Sanjana joins us from Webster University where she is working towards her master’s in business administration with an emphasis in analytics in the George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology.

Originally from Bangalore, India, Sanjana made the journey to the United States where she has lived in St. Louis since attending Webster University. We have been fortunate enough that Sanjana stayed in St. Louis for the Summer and joined us as part of the 2026 Summer Intern class.

We sat down with Sanjana to ask her a few questions about her and why she chose Strayos.

What inspired you to study what you are studying?

I wanted to open my own business someday and hence I had to understand the way businesses work and how workflows are evolving in the age of AI.

What interested you about Strayos? Why did you apply?

Strayos is one of the only companies that is using AI for the good. I really like the mission of the company. And for me to be motivated to just get myself to do the work every day that is really important.

What do you want to do in the future?

My long-term goal is to build a technology company that creates meaningful impact. In the short term, I want to grow in product strategy, business strategy, and AI-driven innovation by working on real business problems, building scalable systems, and learning from experienced teams. I hope to eventually combine technology, business, and leadership to create solutions that make a difference.

How do you see your time at Strayos contributing to your plans? What do you hope to accomplish during your time with us?

I see my time at Strayos as an opportunity to understand how a growing AI company operates beyond just one function. I want to contribute by improving workflows, strengthening collaboration between teams, and building systems that make the company more efficient and scalable. I also hope to help establish marketing as a strategic growth function by improving product positioning, AI-powered marketing processes, and partnerships with distributors and universities.

What are you working on right now?

I'm currently working on building AI-powered marketing workflows, improving Strayos' go-to-market strategy, developing distributor and university enablement platforms, designing cross-functional workflows between Solutions Engineering and Marketing, improving website messaging and user experience, and standardizing marketing assets and content systems. I'm also preparing for my PMP certification while completing my MBA.

Tell us something personal about you!

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new ideas, playing badminton and sketching, travelling and working on entrepreneurial projects. I'm also passionate about Indian art and culture, and I love finding ways to combine creativity, technology, and business to solve meaningful problems.
