2026 Summer Intern Spotlight

Strayos is proud to introduce… Aram Ashrafzadeh!

Aram joins us this summer as a Business Development Intern!

Originally from Modesto, California, Aram attends Washington University in St. Louis, or WashU, where he is a rising senior studying History with a pre-law focus. We are happy that Aram chose to join us this summer and he has been an amazing addition to the 2026 Summer Intern class.

We sat down with Aram and asked him a few questions about himself and why he chose Strayos.

What inspired you to study what you are studying?

I was driven to study history because it is the foundation for so much around us. Much of our culture, institution, and ideas are all rooted in the historical foundations of the times when they were created. As an aspiring lawyer, the justice system as a whole is based on the historical precedents set by those before us, so for me, history and pre-law go hand in hand.

What interested you about Strayos? Why did you apply?

As someone interested in international and environmental law, working at Strayos would provide me a great opportunity to become knowledgeable about the thought processes and workings of the mining industry, an industry connected to natural resources and environmental law. Strayos as a company also really intrigued me, because it is a multinational organization where I could learn about the realities of international corporations, and also because I could learn about how AI and AI companies operate.

What do you want to do in the future?

Looking ahead, I want to build a career focused on either international, transactional, or environmental law. My goal is to navigate complex global frameworks and policies to protect vulnerable environments and drive meaningful, large-scale impact.

How do you see your time at Strayos contributing to your plans? What do you hope to accomplish during your time with us?

I feel that my time at Strayos has contributed to my plans by showing me the clear relation between all of my interests. I think that Strayos has helped me visualize and understand my goals better and allowed me to see that they are actually what I enjoy.

What are you working on right now?

I have been working on a wide range of stuff, from marketing materials to legal. For example. I have worked on university, customer, and partner spotlights and then I also did some trademark searches.

Tell us something personal about you!

I am a big cat person, I am a fan of every San Francisco team except for the Warriors (Light the Beam!)
