Summer 2021 Intern Spotlight: Gabriel Cadalzo
Strayos is Proud to Introduce... Gabriel Cadalzo!
Gabriel is one of our star Summer 2021 Business and Marketing interns and we are so happy he decided to join our team!
Gabe started life in Long Island eventually making his way inland to Buffalo, NY in search of action and excitement. Now he finds himself pursuing an MBA at University at Buffalo to prepare for his eventual run at global domination.
To assist in developing his conquerer's skill set he decided to join Strayos...
We sat down with Gabriel to learn a little more about him...
What interested you about Strayos? Why did you apply?
I got matched up with Strayos' General Manager, Kim Sahu, for a mock interview through UB and we ended up talking about Strayos afterwards. The company sounded interesting and I've always been interested in technology. After meeting with Kim for only an hour I knew I wanted to apply. The flexibility of a startup combined with Strayos' technology focus and environmental advocacy cemented the decision.
What do you want to do in the future?
I hope to be working in some kind of entertainment industry on a product or project that makes people smile.
How do you see your time at Strayos contributing to your plans? What do you hope to accomplish during your time with us?
I like that since it's a startup there will be opportunity to try a bunch of different aspects out. I hope to gain more experience within product management, marketing, and general business development.
What are you working on right now?
Right now I'm working on three different projects. I've been optimizing Strayo's YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/Strayos, I'm looking into potential customer acquisition within the US, and I created a direct mail campaign that has already sent out its first batch of letters.
Tell us something personal about you!
Since quarantine started I've been cooking a lot more and it's been a highlight of my day to be able to just stop working and cook with my significant other. I cherish my relationships and friendships. My first day of in-person classes, since the beginning of the pandemic, had me wearing matching sweaters with an MBA teammate.
Thank you, Gabe!
We love our team. Without them we wouldn't be here.
