What were the applications related to managing and tracking the blast movement?

So the main concern was what is the limit of the stemming zone to shorten the stemming zone. That was a risk because when you shorten the stemming zone too much, then you will start having fires and dust, excessive dust and vibrations also. So that was the main concern and risk.

Should the gas bag application at the bottom of the poles decrease the vibration peak or should it be used at the top?

Not sure about applying the gas back in the bottom.
