Summary
Blasting is a key process that impacts everything from costs and schedule conformance to dig rates and crusher performanceโall influenced by fragmentation. But measuring fragmentation blast by blast has always been cumbersome... until now. ๐๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฅ, a cutting-edge, mobile-first AI that harnesses the power of smartphone vision and lidar sensors to make blast fragmentation measurement as easy as snapping a photo. In this webinar, weโll demonstrate how FragR puts the power of accurate fragmentation analysis right in your hands, empowering you to make data-driven decisions and improve your mineโs overall performance. Learn how this Tiny AI uses ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ ๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐๐ก๐ฎ๐จ๐๐จ techniques to automatically assess rock sizes without the need for manual scales or the perspective issues often faced with traditional 2D methods. ๐จ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐

Q&A
When you take a pic of the muck pile it is covered only in the top area of the muck pile. How Tiny AI analyses the entire muck pile with one or two pics?
Answer: The FragR app is designed to be able to take multiple images as the muckpile is being dug, where users can merge the data into one statistical output.
Can people link the project with a pre-blast flight to further help the predictive frag AI?
Answer: Strayos can sync the data to the post-blast fragmentation flights within the Strayos web app, which is then used in the fragmentation prediction.
Does this work with an Android?
Answer: Yes, FragR is Android compatible
What is a convolutional neural network model, and how does it work?
A Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is a type of deep learning model particularly effective at processing grid-like data, such as images. It's widely used in computer vision tasks like image classification, object detection, and segmentation.
When taking photographs with the cell phone, should we create a project in Strayos or is there a section just to carry out the fragmentation of the blast carried out?
Users do not need to create projects in the Stryaos web app, the FragR app can be run independently of the Strayos web app.
Is internet connection required to process the image?
No internet connection is needed to run the apps functionality. Any syncing of data to the Strayos web app will need connection.
What is the cost to use it after the free trial?
Please reach out to our team for pricing information.
Does Fragr work with both smartphones and computers?
FragR works on mobile devices with dual lenses. Computers will not be compatible.
Is there a price point for the FragR subscription per month or year?
Please reach out to our team for pricing information.
How about distance between the device and material fragmented? How about the accuracy? For some opportunity, the Xmax number still not same with real size.
Our recommended distance for capturing images is 3-5 meters. The smaller the particle size, the closer you want to be to the pile.
